GCF Partners With CaringBridge to Support Cancer Patients
GCF is proud to announce a new partnership with CaringBridge, a free service that allows families to create and communicate through a personalized web site for loved ones facing serious medical conditions such as cancer.
“Cancer affects everyone in the family,” said Rudy Morgan, Executive Director of GCF. “Sometimes it is a gift for the patient not to have to repeatedly pick up the phone to relay his or her prognosis.”
A CaringBridge/GCF web site helps keep loved ones informed during difficult times, allowing patients to reach out on their terms while staying connected with family and friends. Every free, personalized CaringBridge/GCF web site includes:
- Patient care journal to update family and friends
- Guest book for messages of love
- Photo gallery
- Free online support for using the service

- Ask for help with meals and transportation
