Gala in the Garden to Benefit Georgia Cancer Foundation

Georgia Cancer Foundation is set to become the beneficiary of the inaugural Gala in the Garden. This exclusive summer chic event is being held to assist the Foundation in accomplishing its mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem through prevention, advocacy, research and education. This private event will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at the Park Tavern in Piedmont Park. The Pre-Gala  "Go Green" VIP Mixer is from 7PM-8PM, followed by the main event which will take place from 8PM-11PM. General tickets are $50.00 and VIP tickets are $100.00.

Hosted by Kara Wilson from 95.5 The Beat and performances by celebrity guests, the event will include a fashion show, "Couture 4 Cancer Fashion Show."  Participants of the fashion show will be those currently battling cancer as well as survivors of cancer. Proceeds from the event will benefit Georgia Cancer Foundation.
