Georgia Cancer Foundation Adds Two Board Members

The Georgia Cancer Foundation (GCF) continues to grow with the addition of two new members to its board of directors. Valery Voyles Singleton, President/CEO of Ed Voyles Automotive Group, and Mike Tarrant, Vice President of Financial Network Associated, were recently elected to serve on the GCF board for two-year terms.

“We are extremely delighted to add these two talented individuals to our board as we continue to strategically enhance our outreach to provide excellent cancer resources in Georgia,” said Brenda Horne, Executive Director of GCF.

Ms. Voyles and Mr. Tarrant will also help lead and advise GCF’s affiliate programs, Bosom Buddies of Georgia and ChemoChic.

After working in a senior-level management job at Acura, Ms. Voyles took over leadership of the Ed Voyles Automotive Group two years ago. She is involved with The Wellness Community and The Shephard Center, and is a board member for the Emory Board of Visitors. She is also active in several charities, including several that are related to cancer.

Mr. Tarrant provides personal financial planning and consulting. He has been involved in financial planning since 1992 and holds various securities and insurance licenses. His services are also endorsed by the Georgia Pharmacy Association. Mr. Tarrant has served as a Connection Group Facilitator and is active in Stonecreek Church in Roswell. In addition to being on the GCF Board of Directors, he also served as a member of the Business Advisory Council of GCF.

The addition of Valery and Mike to the Board will bring diverse strengths to the governing body. Both have deep connections into the community and are passionate about our mission. GCF is fortunate that they have agreed to volunteer.
